Trophy Overview
GTA V launched with 49 base trophies (plus 20 added via GTA Online DLC), including a Platinum trophy on PlayStation. GTA 6 is expected to follow a similar structure, with trophies covering the story campaign, exploration, activities, and Online content added post-launch.
Story Trophies (Predicted)
These will unlock naturally as you progress through the main campaign. Based on GTA V's structure with three protagonists (13 story trophies), expect a similar count for GTA 6's dual-protagonist narrative:
Welcome to Leonida
Complete the prologue mission.
Partners in Crime
Complete Jason and Lucia's first mission together.
The Big Score
Complete the final heist mission.
End of the Line
Complete the story on any ending.
Exploration Trophies
GTA games reward thorough exploration. Leonida's massive and diverse map will have trophies tied to discovering key areas:
Tourist Trap
Visit all major landmarks in Vice City.
Swamp Thing
Explore every area of the Grassrivers region.
Key to the Keys
Discover all islands in the Keys archipelago.
Deep Dive
Reach the deepest underwater point in Leonida.
Cartographer
Uncover the entire map.
Activity & Side Content Trophies
GTA V had trophies for tennis, golf, yoga, and more. GTA 6's Florida setting opens up new activities:
Speed Demon
Win a street race.
Angler Management
Catch one of every fish species.
Wave Rider
Win a jet ski race in the Keys.
Stunt Double
Complete all stunt jumps.
Under New Management
Purchase every available business property.
Combat & Skill Trophies
Quick Draw
Get 25 headshots.
Trading Paint
Survive a 20-minute police chase at 4+ stars.
Dynamic Duo
Complete a mission using both Jason and Lucia in under 5 minutes.
Platinum Trophy
Vice City Legend
Earn all other trophies. The ultimate GTA 6 achievement — expect 60-80 hours of dedicated gameplay to unlock.
Platinum Tips
- Play the story first — Story trophies are unmissable. Focus on completing the campaign before chasing collectibles.
- Don't use cheats — Cheats disable trophies for that session. Save cheating for post-platinum fun.
- Tackle collectibles early — Finding all collectibles (letters, packages, etc.) is always the most time-consuming part. Start collecting as you explore naturally.
- Check mission medals — GTA V required gold medals on missions for certain trophies. Replay missions for better ratings after your first completion.
- Watch for missable content — Some GTA games have trophies tied to choices or events that can't be replayed. We'll flag any missable trophies at launch.
