Vice City Stories is the internet's first and only interactive text-based crime RPG set in the world of GTA 6's Leonida. Unlike a simple quiz or calculator, this is a fully branching narrative experience where every decision matters. You'll manage four critical stats — cash, heat, reputation, and crew size — as you navigate the criminal underworld of Vice City, making split-second decisions that determine whether you end up a kingpin, a fugitive, or face down in the Everglades.
The game draws from everything we know about GTA 6's confirmed locations, characters, vehicles, and gameplay mechanics. You'll visit Vice Beach, lay low in the Alligator Alley swamps, pull off heists at the Vice City Marina, and navigate the territories of gangs like the Ambrosia Cartel. It's built to be replayable — with four different origin stories that change your starting stats and unlock different paths through the narrative.
How to Play
Getting started is simple. Choose one of four origin backgrounds — each gives you different starting stats and opens unique story branches. From there, the story unfolds in chapters. At each scene, you'll read a narrative passage that sets the mood and stakes, then choose from two to four possible actions. Each action has a visible risk tag so you can weigh your options, but outcomes also depend on your current stats and a bit of procedural randomness.
Your four stats work like this. Cash is your bankroll — you need it to buy equipment, bribe officials, and fund bigger scores. Heat measures how badly law enforcement wants you; let it climb too high and the game ends in arrest. Reputation is your street cred — higher rep opens doors to better jobs and crew members, but also makes you a target. Crew represents your team size, which affects what jobs you can pull off and how you split payouts.
The Four Origin Paths
Your choice of origin isn't cosmetic — it fundamentally changes how the story plays out. The Street Hustler starts with connections but no cash, relying on fast talk and petty crime to climb. The Getaway Driver brings vehicular skills and a clean record, perfect for players who want to stay under the radar. The Cartel Defector starts with money and reputation but dangerously high heat — you've already burned bridges. And the Con Artist begins with moderate resources across the board, specializing in deception and social engineering.
These origins connect to GTA 6's confirmed dual-protagonist system. Just as Jason and Lucia bring different backgrounds and skillsets to the main game, your origin choice in Vice City Stories shapes everything from which gangs will work with you to which locations are safe to visit.

Vice City Stories features seven distinct endings based on your final stats and the choices you've made throughout the story. You might end up as Leonida's most feared crime boss, escape to a quiet life with your earnings, get taken down in a dramatic police standoff, turn informant for the feds, or face betrayal from within your own crew. Each ending generates a unique "Criminal Record" card with your full stats, title, and story summary that you can share on social media.
