A marina slip — a rented berth where you keep a boat between outings — is the waterfront equivalent of a garage, and in a Vice City modelled on Miami it would sit in some of the most expensive real estate on the map. The idea of owning or renting a slip, scaling from a modest dock up to a yacht berth, is a reasonable extrapolation from how GTA handles vehicles and water travel. It is not, however, a property type Rockstar has shown or priced for GTA 6.

Why It Fits Vice City
Vice City is a coastal city defined by its water — causeways, islands and an Atlantic-facing strip — and Rockstar has emphasised boats and a navigable coastline. Where there are boats there are berths, so a marina is a natural fixture of the world. The real Miami it draws on is, by several measures, the yachting capital of the United States, which is exactly the texture a slip-rental concept leans on.

No berth, slip-rental, or boat-storage property has appeared in GTA 6 material, and Rockstar has published no property list or prices. What follows is documented GTA Online history and real Miami marina background — any berth fee, slip tier, or price attached to this idea elsewhere is fan speculation, not confirmed detail.
Boats as Property in GTA Online
The series has never sold a marina slip as such, but it has sold the boat. In December 2015 the Executives and Other Criminals update added the Galaxy Super Yacht to GTA Online as a purchasable floating property, bought from the in-game DockTease site in three tiers — Orion ($6 million), Pisces ($7 million) and Aquarius ($8 million). The yacht cannot be driven; it functions as a moored, staffed apartment with a captain who will relocate it between a set of fixed anchor points for a fee, plus the co-op A Superyacht Life mission strand.
That is the closest franchise precedent for a Vice City slip: a tiered, water-based property bought for lifestyle and access rather than raw utility. A rentable berth that scales from a small dock to a yacht mooring is a believable extension of that model — but the Galaxy Super Yacht’s prices and tiers are GTA Online facts, not GTA 6 ones, and no slip property has been announced.
Miami, the U.S. Yachting Capital
The reason a Vice City marina reads as luxurious is that real Miami treats the berth as a status address. South Florida is widely described as the yachting capital of the United States, and the slip itself can be as exclusive as any waterfront condo. The flagship is Island Gardens Deep Harbour on Watson Island, between downtown Miami and Miami Beach — billed as the first deep-water superyacht marina of its kind in the Western Hemisphere, with roughly 50 slips and thousands of linear feet of dock able to take vessels up to about 550 feet, the kind of “giga-yacht” that simply cannot berth most places.
It is not the only one. The large Miami Beach Marina sits within walking distance of South Beach’s Art Deco district with hundreds of slips; Sunset Harbour runs an equity-membership club where owners effectively buy their berth; and every winter the Miami International Boat Show turns the whole waterfront into a showroom. That ladder — from an ordinary day-boat slip to a seven-figure megayacht berth — is precisely the kind of tiering a GTA slip property would gesture at, and it exists, documented, in the city Vice City is built to mirror. The in-game version remains unconfirmed; the real-world basis is very real.
