Origin in GTA Online
Signal Jammers were added to GTA Online in the December 2019 Diamond Casino Heist update, alongside the Playing Cards collectible. There are 50 of them across San Andreas, usually mounted high on buildings, towers and billboards, marked by blinking red lights and an audible beep when you're close. Unlike most collectibles you don't pick them up — you destroy each one, typically with a few rifle shots.
Destroying all 50 unlocks the hacker Avi Schwartzman as a support-crew member for the Diamond Casino Heist; a better hacker buys more time inside the vault. Each jammer also pays out cash and RP, with a bonus for finishing the set. This is a genuine, well-documented GTA Online system.
What Is Known for GTA 6
Nothing. Rockstar has not confirmed signal jammers, a casino, or any heist-prep collectible for GTA 6. There is no confirmed count, reward, or location. The older claim that GTA 6 jammers unlock a phone 'Scanner app' and improve cell coverage was invented; it has been removed.
