Based on Rockstar's marketing cadence and GTA V's pre-order history:
- May 2026 — Take-Two earnings call. Potential Trailer 3 reveal and pre-order announcement.
- June 2026 — Summer Game Fest / industry events. Detailed edition reveals and pre-order window opens.
- July-August 2026 — Pre-orders live on all major retailers. Collector's Edition sells out quickly.
- September 2026 — Gameplay deep dive. Final marketing push.
- November 19, 2026 — Launch day.

Scam Warnings
GTA 6 is the most anticipated game in history, making it a prime target for scammers. Protect yourself:
🚨 Fake Pre-Order Sites
Do NOT pre-order from any website other than official retailers listed above. Scam sites are already taking "deposits" for a game that doesn't have pre-orders yet. If a site is accepting GTA 6 pre-orders right now (April 2026), it is a scam.
🚨 "Early Access" Key Sellers
There are no early access keys being sold anywhere. Grey market key sites offering "GTA 6 beta access" or "early play codes" are fraudulent. Rockstar has not distributed any such keys.
🚨 Social Media Giveaways
Fake giveaways on Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok asking you to "follow and share" for a free copy are phishing attempts. Official Rockstar giveaways (if any) will only come from verified @RockstarGames accounts.
🚨 "Leaked" Download Links
Any link claiming to offer a GTA 6 download, beta, or demo is malware. The game has not been released and there is no playable version available outside Rockstar's offices. Period.
